S. Foshá-Anderson asked: I would like to learn more about my direct genetic ancestry, and I’m looking for a testing kit that can give me a break down in percentages. Can anyone recommend one to me that can trace both maternal and paternal lineages?
I understand that if I want to test both y and mitochondrial DNA, I would need to have a male sibling with the same mother and father to get this done; I plan to do that. I am only looking for a test that will do a percentage breakdown of ethnic background as well, if that’s possible.
